Standard Lease Terms for Commercial Leasing in

Presently the standard lease terms prevalent in Delhi (NCR) for commercial real estate are as under:

Total Tenure:            9 Years (3 Years + 3 Years + 3 Years)
Lock in Period:          3 Years.
Rent Escalation:       15% every three years.
Security Deposits:    Equivalent to 6 months rent to be returned back on expiry of the lease.
Advance Rent:         6 Months to be adjusted over the last tenure of the lease.
